K12 Systems, Inc. believes project success is heavily dependent on the development, implementation, and maintenance of effective training programs. Our training philosophy is: "Tell me and I'll forget, Show me and I may remember, Involve me and I will understand." K12 Systems, Inc. believes learning does not occur automatically because we hear or see something new, rather it is a consequence of our own mental involvement and the act of doing the task. Training that involves only lectures and demonstrations and contains no trainee involvement, will never lead to learning that lasts. Only training that is interactive, and engages trainees in their learning, can accomplish this. When training is interactive, the trainees do most of the work and the trainer acts as a facilitator to their learning. Trainees solve problems, brainstorm, ask and answer questions, work in small groups, role-play scenarios, and apply what they learn immediately. All K12 Systems, Inc. employees are trained using this philosophy, which teaches by engaging the trainee in learning activities.
