Sapphire Special Education

The Sapphire Special Education Software/IEP Writer, developed by K12 Systems, Inc. is an advanced web-based special education software solution specifically designed for special education programs. This product was developed under the guidance of special education teachers and administrators. The product is comprised of several modules: referral, eligibility, IEP processing, 504 documentation, caseload management, and Medicaid reimbursement, with multiple levels of security within each application. Our product provides teachers, special education staff, and administrators with tools for effectively managing the IEP and the overall special education process.

This software solution is designed specifically for the K-12 educational market, and helps school districts increase the effectiveness of their programs for all special education programs by automating the time-consuming data collection and reporting processes and by reducing the paperwork burden. The comprehensive, web-based Sapphire solution serves as a foundation for managing all phases of the IEP process for both general and special needs populations. As data is entered, compliance requirements are automatically verified, ensuring that paperwork is completed accurately and on time. As a result, special education staff can spend more time in the classroom, focusing on addressing the needs of improving student learning and achievement.
